23: AIR EXPANSION THERMOSTAT WITH PROTECTIVE CAGE

DESCRIPTION

Air expansion thermostat code 23 has the aim to detect the ignition and the sudden increase of the temperature that occurs before a fire could break out.

The operation is purely mechanical and it is based on the thermal sensitivity of the material which it is made, which suddenly deforming generates a compression of the air inside. This is able to activate the pneumatic actuators that control the pilot cylinders of the system, allowing the distribution.
